Leonardo means "strong as the lion". This definitely describes Leo, as he is affectionately called.  Being the son of the great El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo, he definitely has some big shoes - or rather toes, to fill. From all indications, it looks like he is going to be up to the task.

Leo has a very regal presence and excellent conformation. He has it all - nice straight legs, straight top line, nice wedge head and spearlike ears. He tops all of that off with a wonderful temperament. 

His fleece is remarkable - very dense with excellent crimp, luster, and handle. For 2011, Leo was just shy of shearing 10 pounds.

Leo will have several crias born in 2012, so keep checking back to see what he is producing.
