I once
had a very well-known breeder tell me that
you always strive to breed the "outstanding"
stud - and that is the one you keep in your
kennel. We bred the best to the best
in our kennel; Tirade (Blackrock's best
stud) to Cleo (our best bitch).
We
were not wrong. When "Carbo" was born,
he was outstanding from the onset.
That description has not changed to date.
"Carbo" has a nice straight top line,
long elegant neck, nice rear angulation,
lots of bone, tight harsh coat, and a
beautiful head. He is a beautiful
mover and his movement is one of the things
that gives him show presence. The
icing on the cake is his temperament.
"Carbo" is very social and gets along well
with everyone, including other terriers.
We
anticipate that "Carbo" will be a wonderful
addition to the Catawba Mountain breeding
program. Look for him at future
terrier trials.
