"Lifestyle becoming tradition"

Welcome to Catawba Mountain Farm – home to Catawba Mountain Alpacas.  We are located in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia near the Appalachian Trail, just 15 minutes from Interstate 81.

The highlight of our day is the time we spend at the barn feeding our boys and girls.  In fact, we open our day and close it the same – listening to the peaceful humm of contented alpacas, watching the pronking in the pasture when they are in a playful mood; and of course the simple pleasure of just enjoying being around one of God's most unique, and peaceful creatures.

Today we look out the window and we see our beautiful alpacas grazing so peacefully in the pasture.  Not only are we living the lifestyle-the alpaca lifestyle, but it is a lifestyle becoming a tradition in our family.  How wonderful!
